Description

Looking at this extremely compact, leather zip case, you’d have no idea it contains a razor, scissors, tweezers and a cuticle pusher. This vintage kit was made in England and is the perfect addition to your travel toiletry bag.

The small case measures 9cm x 6cm x 2cm and the top features a colour image of a top hat, white gloves and a cane.

Inside the case you’ll find a pristine Gillette Tech safety razor (looks like it was barely ever used), a small pair of scissors, a cuticle pusher for your nails, and tweezers.  There is also room for a few razor blades.

More Information:

The Razor

The double edge razor was invented in 1903, and unlike drugstore cartridge razors that are most commonly used today, the double edge razor blade fits all double edge razors (with a some rare exceptions). Many folks love shaving with and collecting vintage razors because they were extremely well built and are a unique piece of history.  This razor was manufactured in England, likely in the 1950’s and is a version of the Gillette “Tech”.  It uses a standard double edge razor blade (like all of the other razors we sell) and provides a fantastic, close shave.  The Tech is similar to most vintage razors in that it is shorter than modern safety razors, ensuring you grip it only with your fingertips so the razor can pivot and glide without pressure over your skin.  If you appreciate antiques and quality manufacturing, this razor is for you!

The Leather Travel Kit

This case is vintage, so please keep in mind that it is not brand new.  If you’re looking for an excellent, new travel razor case, check out this one!
